Well, I don't think you can if you've chosen a sane girlfriend. Shared rent is usually paid by

• even distribution (every tenant pays the same amount), or
• space (tenant who has the biggest bedroom, for example, pays the biggest share)

It's not usually paid by "whoever makes the most money pays the most". In fact, that's a pretty good recipe for losing roommates, and a good incentive for everyone to stop working altogether.
