Status Report

We are making real progress. It is imperative that everybody join a team and get started immediately. Don't worry if you don't know how to "hack," only teams Zeta, Eta, Theta, and partially Iota will require that area of expertise. Read more about teams here. We are starting to really see this plan come together. All of the movie links have been found by Team Alpha, and they are currently wrapping up the discographies. Team Delta is making steady progress on the press release. We need more people to help out on Team Gamma, and keep in mind that we need even more invasive information (CC's, social, home address, wife's name, etc.). Gamma, you also need to start inputing the data into the markup. Beta is making steady progress. Iota, you need to get cracking on The Preplan immediately. Give Sony hell; go nuts; get creative. Team Epsilon is on standby at the moment as we need the other teams to complete their tasks before they can proceed. However, Zeta, Eta, and Theta need to start strategizing on how they will breach Sony's systems. This is very crucial, so hackers (in the truest sense of the word), get to work!

Sony Intel

The Plan

Hack into the Sony Online Store. Make everything both appear to be free and actually be capable of being given away for free. Send shipping costs to the executives' credit cards. When they cancel the cards, then make users pay for their own shipping.

Take down all Sony websites (except playstation.com) and redirect to sony.com, where we will work our magic.

On Sony.com we will have our fun. We will post a press release and enable the download of the complete discography of every Sony Music artist. We will also enable movie downloads (possibly even unreleased movies, although unlikely) and public access to the dox info on Sony's executives. There will be a link to the Sony Online Store for people to come and take all of Sony's stuff for free. This will all be a part of The Payload.

We will need a way to prevent Sony from reversing these changes. More than just changing their server password.

No meme-usage except for in The Preplan. We need to be intimidating and we need to appear like some elite hacker force to the news channels and to the nation's technically illiterate grandmothers. We need to strike fear into them. DDoSing and memes will make us appear to be script kiddies, and the news will not pay us proper attention. Nobody gives a fuck if you manage to take sony.com out for a day. If you give all of their products away for free and deface them, however, congratulations: you've got the eyes of the nation. If we look like kids to the public we'll be treated like kids. It's time to follow through and get some real shit done.

Do all of this simultaneously except for the The Preplan. It all needs to be deployed at once. There is currently no set date. We need to get this right, so when we're ready, we'll attack. For those of you with itchy trigger fingers, that means wait until everyone else is ready to play their part. The order to attack will be given once everyone is ready.

The Preplan

While we are working on The Plan, we also be unleashing random chaotic attacks against Sony. This is where memes are not only permissible, but encouraged. While we are working on getting our main plan ready, we will be giving Sony hell through pranks on Sony's executives, emailing all of their employees porn videos, and lots of chaos. It is important, however that we do nothing to compromise their website as that would give them the opportunity to increase their network security. We don't want that. Team Iota will be doing the chaotic attacks, known as The Preplan. Also, keep in mind that we don't want to harm Sony's customers, just Sony and its employees.

The Payload

We will deface Sony's website with an Anonymous-made package we will refer to as The Payload. Team Zeta will be responsible for uploading The Payload to sony.com, and redirecting all other Sony properties (except playstation.com) to it, so that the world can see our handiwork. This is the main focus of The Plan. The Payload will give users an Anonymous press release (made by Team Delta), the dox info on Sony's executives (gathered by Team Gamma), links to all of Sony's media (gathered by Team Alpha and formatted by Team Beta), and a link to the Sony Online Store where anyone will be able to purchase any of Sony's products for the price of $0 (the work of Team Eta). Team Epsilon will gather the data from teams Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta to compile The Payload and compress it. They will then pass it along to Team Zeta for distribution. Team Theta will ensure that Sony will be incapable of removing The Payload from their servers.

You don't have to tell anyone what team you are on (you can if you wish), just start working on the objective. Don't worry if you don't know how to "hack," only teams Zeta, Eta, Theta, and partially Iota will require that area of expertise. Team Epsilon

Once Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta have finished their tasks, you will plug the press release into The Payload, add all of the dox and link pages, compress everything using http://htmlcompressor.com/compressor.html, and pass The Payload along in a neatly packaged ZIP file to Team Zeta. Standby until Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta complete their tasks.

Team Epsilon has no workspace. We need only a minimal amount of people on Team Epsilon.

Team Zeta

You are on the front lines. It's your task to infiltrate Sony and install The Payload, so that anyone going to any Sony-owned website (besides playstation.com) is taken to sony.com where The Payload will be waiting for them. Right now, you need to be strategizing on how you will breach Sony and carry out your objective. Check out intel for some ideas.

Team Eta

You are also on the front lines. It's your job to rewrite the Sony Online Store. You have the task of making everything free, both in appearance and in reality. When a customer buys a Sony product, they will receive it for $0. Right now, you need to be strategizing on how you will breach Sony and carry out your objective. Check out intel for some ideas.

Team Theta

You are security personnel. You need to lock Sony out of their own website. It's your job to change passwords, set up traps, and secure everything. If they get back in, this whole plan falls apart and they will undo all of our hard work. Right now, you need to be strategizing on how you will breach Sony and carry out your objective. Team Iota

You will be executing The Preplan, unleashing hell on Sony and their executives. It is your task to damage Sony's reputation and strike fear into their executives. Through random, chaotic attacks, you will use memes, disgusting images, and the power of /b/. However, it is crucial that you DO NOT attack their website. Doing this will give time for Sony to increase their network security, making our job harder and potentially failing our entire main plan. If you do this, they will adapt to our methods. So go crazy, Iota. You are the Joker to Sony's Gotham. Your team needs to start work immediately. In addition, refrain from attacking Sony's users. They are our allies in the end. Collaborate with Team Gamma for leads that you can take advantage of. They may have some resources for you. Check out intel for some ideas.
