This city-state mod aims for flexibility and diversity. It currently features a wide range of new
city-states, from historical city-states, over small nations to ethnic groups, from Europe, over the Middle East to the Pacific Ocean. All can be removed as simple as deleting their XML file.
Next to the additions, some vanilla city-states have been altered to better reflect their identity. These are the so called
'Capital' city-states (f.e. Budapest, Copenhagen or Almaty), 'city-states' with no identity separate from the country they represent. These city-states still show the same on the map (i.e. with their city names), but are otherwise referred to by their respective countries' names. (For example the 3 previously mentioned city-states are referred to as Hungary, Denmark and Kazakhstan respectively.) In later versions I intent to make these into city-states with extended functionality, true 'minor civs' as it were.
